Complexes of gold,silver and copper with the azine diphosphine Z,Z-PPh2CH2CBut=N-N=C(But)CH2PPh2 have been prepared and shown to contain the diphosphine in an unusual nine-membered chelate ring; the crystal structure of the chlorogold derivative [AuCl{Z,Z-PPh2CH2CBut=N-N=C(But)CH2PPh2}]was determined. |
